Re: BMPT Terminator Zvezda
I forgot to post the latest pictures of the build. Here they are.
I also managed to spray the camo as sported for the Eurosatory Arms Exhibition 2012. As usual Zvezda does not give the full set of views. The front and the rear views are not provided. Fortunately my own pictures came to my rescue.

Nice work on the camo, my airbrushing skills are still not up to that sort of freehand work

Re: BMPT Terminator Zvezda
Thanks for the comments. I fear my AB has reached its limits. The nozzle is too big to achieve the effect I expected but I guess I can be satisfied though. Maybe I need a new AB for this kind of camo.
Freehand airbrushing is not that hard as long as you work close to the model with an eye on the instructions and the other on the model
One thing I often do is to draw with a brush the outline of the patches. So you just have to fill the interior and progressively reahcing the outline with the nozzle always facing the center of the patches. This way you can manage the overspray.

Thank you Shawn.
Here are some pics with a panel wash and a pin wahs applied. I guess I have been a bit heavy handed so maybe I'll spray some Buff to enlighten the beast.

Looking very nice Olivier. The washes look fine, not too heavy to my eye.

Re: BMPT Terminator Zvezda
Thank you Vincent. The side skirts are a bit too dark and there is some undesired streaking. I managed to fix most of it though. My intent was to depict a brand new vehicle during an exhibition.
