World War Toons T-34/76

Post by Adam Durrant »

Whilst waiting for supplies to be delivered from the online hobby shop I decided to get started on this as the other builds are stalled.

Quite a lot of parts for such a small kit but after 2.5hrs of steady building I have this;

Only thing extra I did was to hollow out the bow machine-gun. The kit is designed to snap/press fit together without glue. Great for the novice builder who has this kit because they play the game, pain in the ass for me who likes to dry fit everything before glue! As it is the only filler I needed was around the gun mantle and between the halves of the fuel tanks. You could add some small details if you wanted to but I'm going for a quick clean build here :D

Managed to build the kit, shoot primer and get the paint job and a filter on in one weekend!

Used AKs 4BO modulation set, pics are prior to the filter. Hoping to get a coat of AKs "Gauzy" clear coat on this evening and decals tomorrow. Would usually use future but someone bought me the Gauzy for xmas so thought I would give it a blast.

A SD T-34... weird but cute ;) !
Nice job on the appropriately intense modulation! :D

I can't get into these... But they look like a lot of fun to build!

This is more a break from the norm more than anything else. Also gives me a chance to fiddle around with modulation a bit more. Still waiting on paints for my A39 build to turn up... :(
