Good to have you along chaps :D

The standard reference and aftermarket photo....

So, on with the build....

A while back I had pinched the lower hull for another project and had forgotten this until I opened the box  So, first step was to search through my Sherman spares box to find some lower hull parts....

Image

Thankfully, I had a partially put together hull which I could use with a little modification....

Image

The lower sponson panels were for an M4A2 hull so I had to alter those first up - note how the left one has been done already to suite the rounded cast hull. The lower hull sides were for an early rivited hull so all of those needed to be shaved off to represent a later welded hull.

Rear panel, doors, etc are all added. PE side plates are frrom the Voyager set. I've added missing welds from the hinges as well as hinge pins...

Woohoo :D Finally found it!

I put this somewhere safe when we moved house. So safe in fact, I couldn't find it anywhere  Had another search today and it turned up - perfect timing for the build 8-)

These seem to be like rocking horse poo, I've been looking for one for ages. Guess I can get my fix by just watching yours :D

I keep hoping Asuka will release a M74 ARV but they seem to have stopped doing anything new :?
