Your favourite Tools

Post by Philipp Gross »

Just as the title says: Show us what tools you absolutely need to get stuff done. Might be good for a surprise :D

I already asked this back in the days of MA, would be nice to see how things have developed since ;)

(And by tools I mean "real" tools. No internet, computer, hands or brains this time :P  )

Here are my essentials:

Believe it or not, the tweezers are the most important of these. I've tried a lot, but only those have the right "feel" to them. Everything else just feels clumsy.

I've used the same Swiss Army Knife scissors for about 10 years now and it still cuts as on the first day. German engineering might be famous, but Swiss engineering can be outright scary :o

Good thread Philipp - I'm not quite certain where the team are.......

Anyway for me - I could get away with these

Image

The scalpel for scraping more than cutting - with a No 11 blade - the "back" of the blade for cude whittling and the fine "upturn" at the end for fine "scraping".

I'd settle for one set of tweezers the No 3 "blunt" end and the cocktail sticks are indispensible for applyng CA or PVA glue.

To be honest when I saw the first photo with the scissors, brush and bowl I thought that was your emergency cat kit
