Re: Confusion and Heresy at the Crossroads
I have said it already and will say it again
""Love it Raoul
Your time has been well invested, with the super diorama
Love the figures and the heads are well done too, even the "crazed" claymation figure
The base really is good too, as you look around you can see all the different elements and all the work that has been put into what is at first view a "simple" mud patch, but is far more involved than that
Time well spent, and I hope you make a speedy recovery, even if it means we don't see as much of your work in the coming months
Very nice work ""

Raoul - I too Love it. What an Opus. Great execution - Figures vehicle and Basework combine to a fabulous whole with a great sense of atmosphere

Oh well, it's kind of redundant with me basically living next door and voicing my opinion countless times already, but....
...absolutely outstanding work from start to finish, definitely something to be proud of

I don't know if you guys remember back in the MA days but I sent Vinnie some pics and it crashed the site. I felt awful.Gary Boxall wrote:Better twice than not at all

Anyways back to you Raoul.
What a great story your telling here. Everything is so well done. From the 251's, to the figures and finally the ground work. The puddles look so realistic.
Great job.

Re: Confusion and Heresy at the Crossroads
Thanks Steve, Rob, Pille, Shawn!
Of course I find a million things that didn't work out as originally intended, but I suppose that's normal in the hobby .
I'm happy that you like it, since it's really the first diorama I ever did where I did basically everything, ground work, sculpting the base and so forth.
In light of that, I suppose I could forgive myself a couple of things I don't like .
The work done on the site and way back on MA by others really helped a lot with composition, figure face painting and a billion of other aspects. I was just browsing old pictures and when I see how my builds looked before I came across you guys from MA and later PA....it's really no comparison, this is slightly off-topic but this community really is an awesome learning resource !
Best regards
