It's Ammo Green Khaki which I worked out should be the right one for the era these were around.

After painting the details I sealed it using floor polish, applied a dark pin wash, streaks and a light dust layer.

Photos are on the way to Gary.

A base has always been planned for this but there is no way I could it done this week. I will get it done though.

Build Summary

BRDM 2 EarlyBuilt OOB, interior was left out as I wanted to set this in an exercise setting, inspiration came from the Wiki on BRDMs. Supurb build as far as I'm concerned.

PaintGreen Khaki from Ammo of Mig. Tow cable and MGs in Vallejos new Metalic colour, in this case Steel. Absolutely brillant through the airbrush, as good as Alclad to my mind, brush finish was OK but not as metalic.

WeatheringAK Wash for Nato Vehicles, AK Streaking grime and Tamiya Buff

Enjoyed it so much I bought another(not like me to build more than one variant of something after all ;) )

Good to hear Chris because it looks...strangely awesome.
It really should look boring to me but it has all these nice little touches in design and in your execution so it looks positively awesome  !

Looking forward to encounter another one some time later here :D .

Best regards

Nice finish Chris.

I already used the excuse I did not have time for a base with mine by todays deadline as well.

A short update to this finished model, over the last week I've been working on the base which I had always planned to put it on.

Still not quite finished and the edges need a little cleaning up but generally happy with it.
