Re: T-26 Model 1933, Spanish Civil War
Thanks everyone for your thoughts and comments. Speaking about the formerly unthinkable does help, and I'm certainly not enforcing any farcial neutrality policy here as long as the discussion remains civil. If anyone wishes to open a new thread for talking about the Ukraine war, Corona or anything else, please go ahead. As for me, I'm just sad and tired after witnessing disaster after disaster for the last 20 years. Humanity could do so much better, were not for the idiocy of a handful of deplorable but powerful individuals whose sole existence seems to be defined by greed or hate or fear.
Anyhow....here are a few photos of the completed T-26 in all its questionable glory, before I spray on some primer.
Take care everyone,
Philipp

Very nice Philipp, very nice with all the added detail, looking forward to see how this will homogenize once it has a base layer over it.
To be a bit off topic... I will freely admit that this scares me to no end, this has July Crisis vibes all over it.
I'm already fairly done with dealing with everything going on before that came about (chiefly me being depressed and stresses out and annoyed with the whole epidemic and work, no home office possible for me) cue me not getting around to actually at least post something here, let alone building something, but maybe this shocked me out of my phlegmatic trot... though not a good thing... at all...
But maybe I'll get into something from the past so as to distract me from the all to similar present...
Best regards
Raoul G. Kunz

Thanks Raoul.
Let's hope that the tried and true method of mutually assured desctruction keeps us safe from whatever conflict may lie ahead.

Some nice scratch building that you have done on this. You know that does not always help with the motivation.
Looks great. Keep the updates coming.

Thank you Shawn!
I had hoped for a quick and easy build and boy was I proven wrong.
I'm off to some much needed vacation next week and will start painting afterwards

Back to the T-26...after primer, base coat, and lots and lots of masking tape, I ended up with the most colourful tank I've ever built
Next is detail painting and some chipping.

Decals are on:
I've tried to replicate this particular tank. It's fairly unique by still having Republican markings:
Thankfully that's the only photo I have
As seen on page 1, I've used a decal sheet by AK Interactive. However It's actually designed and printed by Star Decals.
