My choice for the interbellum GB is:-

kit review

Not a massive surprise................... is it

The kit will be completely OOTB as I intent to try and get it onto a base before the end of the GB.

I am hoping to try and create a mud slide scenario

And away we go!

More soon?

Nice choice Steve! Will you go for Reichswehr camo or grey/brown?

Are you going to finish this one Steve? Not that I'm judging, since at least you give it a try, unlike me. 8-)

Cheeky monkey Shawn ;)

So the journey begins and Adam has got off to a flying start

The track links are sided
Image

And all very individual, Oh how I wish I had link and length
Image

The wheels are a little off too!
The early Pz I's had no strengthening plates on the wheel rims, so I took off the plates from the middle 3 wheels and left just the front wheel with the plate.
The picture will explain it much easier
Image

After a weekend I have one side done.
Image

I haven't assembled the base tub yet as the interior will need painting and the garage and AB are out of commission due to the temperature of just 3C, not good for AB work!

So an engine and gear box
Image

I think Adam will get the build done before I do, and I am trying to paint some figures too.

More soon?

That’s pretty quick work Steve, considering you are dealing with an interior and all those individual track links! ;)

We’ve got the opposite problem this side of the globe, it’s 28deg Celsius and 85% humidity. It’s too uncomfortable to work in the garage!

The kit has nice detail, Steve. Glad you didn't go mad putting those tiny tracks together. :D

Thanks chaps

Tiny track links finished, finally

Still too cold to spray in the garage at 1C, so a little work on the interior leaving 0ne side off to allow access to paint.

More soon?

Really nice build. I'm glad my workbench is inside the house. I don't imagine building kits in such harsh conditions. 8-)

Hi Olivier

My work bench, is my Ex Work from home desk in the spare bedroom before I retired.

All the Air Brush kit and paint station are in the garage due to space and Anna not being happy with me airbrushing in the house.

Not that uncommon with partners I think.

It should get a little warmer by the weekend, so perhaps some paint soon?

I am fiddling and fettling a figure base at the moment as a change of pace with working on the tracks, so might get some paint on that too.

More soon?

Regards
