Has it really been nearly another month

Thanks Adam, just what I was thinking too.

The Da*ned tracks wont go back on

I shall make tracks/wheels as a solid block in future as this is a real PITA

Once I have wrestled this monster into submission, its just dust washes and a little more modulation as it hasn't been outside the workshop, yet.

Hopefully to be completed before the GB deadline?

Another lockdown will be really useful, we shall see.

More soon?

regards

Oh no, shrinking track syndrome? That happened to me a few times, since then I leave the tracks wrapped around the wheels for at least a few days....I still don't have an explanation how that is even physically possible...

The tracks are finally where they should be and I can move onto the final stage of......................................?

The turret interior will need some paint and a dust up.

Otherwise......................

No chipping just some mild modulation and dusting.

I think I shall try oils from 502 and have a palette prepared.

Lets see what happens

Good to see you've beaten the tracks into submission! Almost over the finish line I'd say? :)

Are you done yet. Those oils have to be dried out by now.

Completely understood my friend. I have not touched a model since August. The holidays are holding me up now.

Thanks Shawn
A little update
The Rinaldi oils technique is certainly his niche and he does it exceptionally well.
It needs more time and patience than I have at the moment.
I should get this done by the 31st
Current progress
