Thank you Steve!
Primed it yesterday, hopefully at least a basecoat later this week.

Re: Trumpeter 1/35 Hetzer Starr
Thanks Shawn!
Contrary to my usual bad habits I made some progress:
Primer:
And the basecoat, a more or less subtle blend of Tamiya dark green and J.A. green:
As noted before, I'll paint the hard edge camo by hand. It worked for my Saint-Chamond, sort of

Quick update...hand painted hard edge camo:
Not perfectly happy with the end result, but a clear coat, some filters and washes should do the trick...

Thank you Shawn!
The brushed paint doesn't look as homogenous as I'd hoped it would, but I'm optimistic it'll be fine in the end. In the meantime I've done some more detail painting, more photos soon...

Re: Trumpeter 1/35 Hetzer Starr
Looks like I'm as good as finished, yes I'm surprised as well
As a factory-fresh prototype I've decided to keep it clean, so no dust this time. I still need to properly glue down the tow cables and touch up a few smaller things but otherwise I think I'm done.
The base is made from plywood with tiles cut from 2mm cork glued on. All hand painted and with natural earth rubbed into the gaps.
Final result tomorrow?
