Shawn Ramsey wrote: 19 May 2020, 22:42 holy cow Vincent. This is seriously impressive. I mean seriously man, how in the world could you build something like this from scratch. :o :o
I spent about 5 hours yesterday trying to come up with a transmission that sits between the seat of my 250, which Dragon for some reason omitted from the box. I really spent about 5 hours figuring it out and most of it wont be seen.
I am in awe my friend.

Thanks Shawn, I appreciate it. :) I didn't know whether I could build him when I started if I'm honest. I just decided to see how far I could get. Plus I find the subject fascinating, which helps I guess.

Steve suggested some pics to establish scale. Here is a couple with a 1/35 scale figure. The same guy incidentally, I used in my Scout Car build a while ago. :)

Wow, much larger than I thought. Again, outstanding build. Those two tiny "eyes" actually humanize this machine. Great detail/aesthetic choice. 8-)

Thanks Bryan. Yes he is quite big. I had a vague idea of size as I was making each part but I admit I was surprised the first time he stood on his own two feet. :)
