Revell snowspeeder 1/52
Originally made as a snap-together kit, so the fit can be really tricky. I may have to cut away some of the fittings and just glue the pieces together.
Life seems to have been good out in space, pilots are chubby little guys with little to no details to work with. Will try and slap some paint on and make the best of it.

Nice choice Jan, the snowspeeder is my favorite from the star wars universe! The poor pilot however looks like a gummy bear. With the big glass house canopy he could be quite visible, you could try a little bit of scribing to define his details a bit better.
I'm a serial kit starter....

Good to see another Star Wars kit being built here Jan. I'm sure you will have fun with it.

Love it Jan
and the Gummy bear pilot too!
Some blobs of colour and a wash will probably be the best, as it looks like its only 4/5 mm tall?
Have fun with the weathering, snow and grime on white will be an interesting combination
regards

Ehh, interesting I would say
The fit is horrible, probably because it is supposed to snap together. On the good side, there are some really nice panel details to the fuselage so if I can put it together, it should paint up nicely

The kit comes with a little stand, but I thought I would spice it up a little bit.
Top of an ice cream box fits perfectly. Trying to make a small snowy landscape for the speeder to fly over.

The gummy bear pilots painted up with a wash, not pretty but the best I can do with what I had to work with.
Both of them placed in the cockpit and ready for action - hopefully not too much of them will be seen when the canopy comes on

They are really good Jan and at 1/56 scale well done.
The rest of the build should all be down hill now!
Nice work

Re: Revell snowspeeder 1/52
Thanks Steve. I know they are far from perfect, mold lines and all - but as you say, so small that barely visable to the naked eye, even more so when they are closed up inside . Will have to do for this time
