Warhammer 40K Space Marines Predator Tank
This is my original idea for the Sci-Fi GB;
Has been sitting as an orphan in my stash for a while. Doesn't look too complex;
but the instructions are open to a lot of interpretation and there are a lot of "extra" parts for you to customise your build. I have the Ammo of Mig "Space Legion" paint set, which looks to be a match for the main citadel colours and a bit more airbrush friendly.
Both Warhammer 40,000 builds I'm doing look pretty straight forward, but as usual, famous last words!!

Looks quite "user friendly" - all the more room for superdetailling

First cab off the rank for the GB Adam, well done. I'm interested to see what you do with this.

The build will be pretty OOB with some minor improvements, but I'm going to put it on a small base and weather it upVincent Power wrote: ↑01 Jan 2020, 01:32 First cab off the rank for the GB Adam, well done. I'm interested to see what you do with this.

Re: Warhammer 40K Space Marines Predator Tank
Steady building over a couple of hours gets me to here....
The attachment points to the sprues are hugh and there are a lot of mould lines and sink holes that need to be sanded and filled. I drilled out the exhausts as they were moulded solid. The interior is that of a "Rhino" APC so is wrong for a "Predator" tank. Online forums make much of this inaccuracy, my plan is to have all the hatches closed so it won't matter that much!

Morning Adam
Great progress, the preparation of parts is a real pain but you do seem to be taking it in your stride.
Have fun and primer soon?

Hoping to get the build section of this one done by the end of the weekend. At that stage I have to go home, and (sigh), back to work so free time will be at a premium again.Steve Hutchinson wrote: ↑08 Jan 2020, 07:43 Morning Adam

Re: Warhammer 40K Space Marines Predator Tank
Just to prove I'm still working on this, build (OOB) is complete and primer is on;
Will probably shoot some grey primer over this once I have cleaned up sink marks/seams and weird plastic texture. I don't want the MacCragge blue darkened too much by the primer.

Re: Warhammer 40K Space Marines Predator Tank
Still making steady progress on this one, I've used the Ammo "Space Legions" set for the blue and the modulation colours.
Still got a lot to do, but given the speed that the Citadel paints dry it should progress reasonably fast.
