So far I've ruled out a post-43 three colour scheme, so definitely something early :D

Right now I tend towards a tropical scheme with whitewash, as often seen in southern Russia in late 1942. I could add a few grey parts for stuff swapped from other vehicles.... Or maybe grey with mud camo. It really repends on what figures I have

This is looking good. The tropical scheme with white wash is certainly different. I don't think I have ever seen that.

Thanks Shawn! Lots of stuff in Southern Russia was painted in tropical colours:

This is a Stug F in Stalingrad, late 1942.

The Tigers of sPzAbt 503 are another example. They are often thought to be grey, but in fact official documents say they were delivered in Tropentarnung, just like Bovington's 131. The whitewash makes the base colours look much darker.

In the meantime I made some cold weather modifications to the 10/5:

Since there's no resin cold weather cover available for the Sd.Kfz 10 I improvised something with some metal foil that came with an Asuka Sherman.

I also bought this new Miniart set for the crew, I probably won't use them all, 2-3 will suffice:

Gret figures Philipp

Reminds me I have my Flak crew and need to get my finger out too!!!

Use a gentle blue wash around the eyes, ears, mouth to emphasise the cold, it will look cool!

Nice alternative with the foil covers too

Have fun

Oh nice!
Especially like the huddled cold ones ... wait.. do I have the modern version of that greatcoat? :?:
I think I do. :!:
It's not that warm.
Reeeeeeeeeealism!

Seriously though, the cold weather isolation on the hood looks great! :D

Best regards

I like the simple modifications. I have a weak spot for winter scenes.

The cold weather mods look really well done Philipp, much cheaper than over priced resin offerings! :D
