I have not forgotten the GB. The M-ATV is requiring a lot of time but I managed to get it painted. I will be away of the workbench for a fortnight so I guess I will not be able to start the Ganef before early March at best. (I will have the visit of three of my grand-children which is almost as time consuming as modeling  )

Hi all
Good news for the SA-4, first I did start it and assembled a few parts on the lower hull. No pics yet. Second I've finished my M-ATV and the most important COVID in France gives us modelers plenty of modeling time.

I hope I can post pictures during the week-end.

A visual evidence that I started my entry to this GB ;)

The fit of both hull halves was not perfect so I had to do some surgery inside the upper half. Trumpeter asks you to put all the details on the upper hull before assembling the both halves which I dislike.

The 14 twin roadwheels need some cleaning to remove the attachment to the sprue and the lines molded by Trumpeter. While they do exist on the real wheels they are quickly erased by the contact between the rubber and the tracks.

More plastic bits are glued along with the first PE parts. Nothing special to report so far. I've noticed a part misnumberered in the instructions but it was quite easy to spot the part on the sprue.

I've assembled one full track. I've kept the second one for tomorrow. Trumpeter asks you t oassemble 117 links but 115 are enough.

Respect Olivier, I was going to build this one as well but opened the box, saw how many parts were involved and put it back in the stash :D

Nice progress!

Philipp, it is large as a T-90 and with the missiles on it is huge!

I managed to glue more parts today. I also discovered two missing parts which have their place on the vehicle hull but which are present neither on the sprues nor on the instructions. The part on the left is a hook which is present on the right side of the glacis and which is present on the drawings of the completed hull.
The part of the right looks similar to parts already glued along the fenders according to my reference pics. So it could be done from scratch.
Another mistake by Trumpeter is a box on the left side of the hull which is inverted. The hinge should be at the back. But nothing that hard to fix.

At the rear of the hull on top of the roof, there should have been a PE part instead of the piece of Evergreen you can spot. It was so narrow that I didn't manage to bend it.

Adam, I think I did the easy part of the build. The missile launcher is quite impressive when you read the instructions

I started the launcher assembly this morning. This will take more time than the hull I guess. Trumpeter has designed the thing with a lot of small parts.

Looks good Olivier. Reminds me of a beetle or crab with the supports sticking up.
