Wow Olivier, you have been very busy during your isolation. This is one impressive model.

I love the look of these missiles. It's obvious the Americans weren't the only ones who made good use of German technology

Re: 2K11 Krug / SA-4 Ganef
Thank you all for following the build.
Today was a busy day. I started to apply the more than 200 decals/stencils on the missiles. I gave up after 46 and this is not even a complete side per missile.
Tomorrow I'll resume this tedious work and hopefully at the end of the day all the decals will be applied. Many of them are 1mm x 1mm square markings with some letter or numeral inside which are so small than I can't read them

Be strong Olivier
I am sure you will get all the decals done, soon!
It will look even better once fully loaded with 200 decals!

Re: 2K11 Krug / SA-4 Ganef
Trumpeter did not kill me!
Nearly 200 decals are applied. Unfortunately I got some silvering issue with a couple of them despite the traditional application process: gloss varnish, decal base and decal softener.
Here is a picture with the two missiles presented on a different face.
I'll let the decals dry and start the vehicle weathering next.

Re: 2K11 Krug / SA-4 Ganef
Thank you Adam.
Today I applied the pinwash on the missiles. Some Tamiya accent panel plus some brown on the greyish parts and the same accent panel plus some mars black for the aluminum parts. I also started to paint the few details which are not green..

Re: 2K11 Krug / SA-4 Ganef
Thank yo uSteve,
they ARE huge! 8 meters long, 80 cm diameter without the fins.
I finally installed the tracks after a basic weathering with some diluted Flat Earth and Dark Yellow. The missiles have been secured to the launch assembly with some CA glue. The contact points are so small for such large parts. Fortunately the large clamps at the front help secure the whole thing.
I will spray some Buff all over the vehicle to give it a dusty look.
Sorry for the pics but the contrast between the vehicle and the missiles is too high for my camera to adjust the proper light settings.
