Re: Kugelblitz
Thanks Shawn!
I didn't keep count but I spent about 4-5 evenings on this base. I could have made it quicker, but I kept improvising as I went along. Especially the painting and weathering was a lot of trial and error
Night Shift's weathering is insane, especially considering how much of the work is covered up by later steps. I definitely won't try to emulate everything he does, but some of his ideas and techniques are very interesting even for us mere mortals. I spent an evening sponge chipping the Kugelblitz and that's about it I'll do some oil washes and filters next and then sprinkle a bit of mud onto the lower hull, should suffice...

Re: Kugelblitz
Thank you Vincent
When I was not distracted by the BT-2 I was weathering the Kugelblitz. I tried my luck with some "urban" dirt, I suppose it was close to a building collapse

Thanks Shawn!
Well, who would have thought, it is possible to get track sag with DS tracks:
Just a couple minor touchups and the figure and I'm done...hopefully this weekend!

Love it! The dusty worn tired appearance is right on to my eye.

Re: Kugelblitz
Hi Gents,
thanks everyone once again!
Looks like I'm actually done here - please let me know if you spot anything that needs fixing or improvement
Also, what do you think of the figure placement? So far he's held in place with Tamiya tape
(Yep, I'll also clean up the dust from the base )
