Thank you Steve. At least I master the bad language part of the process

Great work on the tracks and road wheels Steve. I always glue the roadwheels in place from the start. But then when the times comes to paint and weather them it is quit challenging. Someday I way try this method so they can be removed.

Anyone else use any different methods than using Blue tack to temporary attach road wheels? I read somewhere about using while glue. Then when your ready to remove them soak them in water and they will come off.

Looks stunning Steve!

I really like the Flakpanzer I... might actually go ahead and build a Tristar one for some comparison ;).

I usually keep the wheels off completely and paint them separately, eventually forming the tracks around them, keeping everything un-glued except the tracks, letting them dry and take them off and paint them and in the end putting everything onto a painted and, depending on the vehicle, aged hull, only necessitating a couple of final touches.

Though I have to say it's neither the most efficient method nor do I always deploy it ;) .

An update!!!

Thanks for popping by Raoul and well done for doing the Tristar version too.

OOTB should be a nice return to modelling, not using the PE is a wise decision and it is both extensive and small LOL

Right get the photos up.

These are all tool brackets which are working, at this time.

I am considering attaching pins to the brackets to strengthen them up a bit?

Still loads of PE both for the Pz IA and the Flak 30 too.

More soon?

The tools and tool clamps look awesome Steve!

Currently this seems easier than the Tristar item

But your clamps really look stunning! :D

Great work on all that tiny PE. I would estimate it took about 30 minutes to do all of that?? Did I say 30 min, i meant 30 hours.

Check these out from MJ Miniatures. Newly release 3D printed tool holders. A bit pricey but once I see a review on them I just buy some. From what I understand the demands are currently outweighing what they can make.

Thanks Raoul, Shawn

About 10 hours all told Shawn!!!

Loads more to do too!

Those tool clamps are superb!

I wonder if they will "share" the Design file as I have a friend with a resin 3D printer LOL

Certainly takes the strain out of PE, but I have always found Voyager and Aber workable clamps quite therapeutic using a blob of blu tack as a 3rd hand!

I shall hopefully start to make in roads into the remaining PE for the Pz I A next

Thanks for popping by

Regards

Simply amazing work on the clamps, small details like that really make a build for me. :)

Steve- Amazing work on the ammo boxes. They really turned out nice. Did you solder those or just used glue.
