You could look at what aircraft modelers do, blues, blue/greys are common in their genre. Mig et.al. put out lines of panel washes you could use as inspiration. I went with dark grey for my Tiran.

Thank you Adam. I thought about using Tamiya grey panel line with a bit of black to darken it as it is too light out of the bottle. Good for white vehicles though.

I managed to get the tracks done. The Modelkasten tracks are a pleasure to work with despite the tiny track pins.
I still have some work on the hull weathering as the pigments hide some effects. So it is not officially complete.

Thank you for the comments. I was surprised myself by the speed of this build. That's probably because I have a bit more time now that I am retired and the work in my house is over (well at least for the initial step).
