This looks really good Adam. The figures just bring the whole thing together. I'm looking forward to the paint.

Thanks Shawn. Chaos Black primer shot this evening. Will add the black and white stuff over the week.

Have been going over the Tiran in Lebanese Wars book again. Looks like my decal options are a bit limited when going an SLA Tiran. However there is a nice blue/grey camo scheme I may look in to.

Now that I am no longer afraid of soldering it is becoming my go to for smaller and smaller sub assemblies. So much stronger. ;)

Managed to get the primer on during the week and the “black and white” preshading today. Have applied a coat of satin varnish, SLA Blue to follow tomorrow.

I have found a couple of pics of SLA vehicles with posters on the front, unfortunately a land rover and an M113A1. However the pics were of religious figure’s (Jesus, Virgin Mary), so should be able to put one on my vehicle.

Very nice work Adam! The blue SLA colour is always fascinating to behold.

(still suppressing shameful memories of that M50...)

Sprayed the blue over the weekend and wiped out most of my preshading.

Have shot a coat of gloss clear (Future) and added decals. Went with a scheme from the net that shows the older “digital” numbers on the turret front and stowage basket as well as “the tree” on the glacis. Supposedly cica 1981.

In the process of panel line wash, will post pics when that’s done.
