Re: Lebanese Tiran 5
This one looks positively awe inspiring Adam!
The storage and dust look cool and... well not really cool per se but hot and dusty as it's doubtlessly meant to !
But I think it really is the Smurf base colour of the tank that give an almost eerie, the ever so very slightly "edge of weird" feeling .
It reminds one of the pink vehicles and the blue, grey, sand, whatnot schemes and patterns of the Western Desert Campaign .
Best regards

Re: Lebanese Tiran 5
Thanks guys
This one has taken far too long. Starting to see it as a challenge rather than fun. Got a three week holiday starting this weekend so will hopefully return reinvigorated

You're teasing us Adam
Enjoy your holidays and get some inspiration to resume the great work you already did on this Tiran.

What a great color blue. Very unusual. Enjoy your vacation. Looking forward to future progress.

Well done Adam. I like the color you choose. The stowage and accessories you added really bring it to life.

Calling this one done. Its a bit of a weathering mess, but I was going for a "well loved" appearance
My first real go at figure painting as well, not the best but better then previous abandoned efforts!
Will send better pics when I can get my s#@t together a bit more!

Re: Lebanese Tiran 5
I wouldnt say it is a weathering mess. It looks really good to me. Two points though about the antennas. First the base would be dark green but period pics could prove I'm wrong
Second the antenna does not bend by itself. This is the spring at the base which does. I guess it's too late to fix this though.
The crew stuff is a great addition and gives life to your model.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I just noticed the aerials Olivier, I even bought aftermarket metal sprung bases so I could put the bend in them....I then forgot to do it!
