It looks perfect. Soldering is one thing that scares me the most in the hobby. Keep on the good job.

Great work with the soldering Adam. Something I need to work on myself.

Last bits of the build turned up yesterday;
I've bought so much aftermarket stuff now to bring the Tamiya kit up to scratch that I should have just bought one of the MiniArt offerings!

Re: Lebanese Tiran 5
Have finally finished the turret this weekend. The secondary armament has been left off for painting. The aftermarket barrel by Voyager is really nice and slotted right in without any modification to the kit or PE barrel collar.
Tamiya didn't mould any detail on the inside of the commanders hatch and doesn't include any vision blocks so I've scratched a basic looking interior from styrene sheet, brass wire and left over PE.
The Legend set is nice but its usual sheet of photos to follow is a bit confusing and they don't give you any measurements for the masses of little "stand off" rods that you need to cut from the resin rods provided. I've added the mortar base but left the mortar tube and protractor off. The Lebanese tanks didn't use it, some had the base, some didn't. The tank I'm loosely modelling had the base and I've used it to cover the hole Tamiya put in for their one.

You're really doing a great job. You should add the "hangers" for the spare track links.
I have the Blast Model conversion in my stash and your model will be a useful help for the project.

Whoops, thanks for spotting that Olivier, I’ve drilled them out but forgot to put the hangers in!

Re: Lebanese Tiran 5
...checked my reference text, just realized Tamiya has you hang the spare links upside down! Have pulled them off and reinstalled. The bottom pin for the track hanger is now hidden so I’ll redrill the hole and install tomorrow. The top hangers (bits of PE fret) will just slide in.

Very nice Adam. All that aftermarket is making a big difference.
