That’s all the mundane stuff out of the way, on to the chipping and oils.

Whole bunch of stowage stuff winging its way to me from BNA in Aus., those big stowage bins look silly all empty! :D

Nice work Adam

This is always the fun part and you really need to drag yourself away before it gets over done, unless it needs to be over done ;)

Nice blue Adam. Did you find a perfect match or did you mix your own shade?

Looking at the MIG book it ranges from a light grey to almost a duck egg blue. I cheated and used the “SLA Blue” from the AK set “Middle East War colors”. It also has IDF colours so will do my chipping with IDF sand as it looks like most of the SLA Tirans were just sprayed over this.

Thank you for the answer. I intend to use some Tamiya medium blue XF18.

Its been some time but I have been making slow progress with this build. Not entirely happy with the "dust" yet and there is still some work to do on that, the tracks and the last of the rear basket stowage.

The IR searchlight lens and the headlight cluster are aftermarket from SKP and a really nice, especially the white light headlight.

The figures need to have their primer stripped and start again. I used the Tamiya white primer out of the rattle can and none of my acrylic paints will stick to it :o

Going to shelve this for a bit whilst I get my head around the next steps.

Good job Adam. I suggest you secure the gas bottle in the rear bin.

Good point Olivier, looks like I’ll need to put my loupes on and make up some Tamiya tape “straps” ;)
