Me neither Mark
Apart from the obvious lack of tracks, this thing is now finished. I might yet add a crew, the hatches aren't glued shut yet.

Nice finish Philipp
Just tracks, paint, a figure and a desert base and its all wrapped up!
I hope you have better luck with the paint than I did with my F2!
Regards

Re: Panzer III J, North Africa 1942
Morning Philipp
After 6 hours cleaning and servicing the H&S as she hasn't been used for 6 months.
Then trying to warm the garage, thin the paint and paint with really bad light, the F2 looked like she had been dipped in treacle and left to set.
Time to dip in alcohol and strip her as she is a lump!
All my fault, I set myself up to paint on Sunday but the weather changed back to Spring from our mini heat wave with highs of 20 C in February!
Once it has been sorted there will be an update!

Sorry to hear that Steve!
Try oven cleaner, it should strip the paint off with no risk to the plastic.

Looking good Philipp. Do you have those tracks done yet?

Re: Panzer III J, North Africa 1942
Thanks Shawn! Not much progress yet....I'm getting a small power drill or else my wrist will fall apart before these things are done.
I might start painting before that, or continue with one of my other stalled builds for a little while.

Yep, we're ready for painting now. Let's hope I can do that sooner.

Nice clean work!
I notice a little flash on the front track tooth openings.

Thanks Bryan!
I see what you mean, I'll clean it up before painting. I've primed the whole thing on Sunday, I hope to get the camo done this week. It should have the second tropical scheme with RAL 8020 and 7027.
