That's a shame Philipp, the sandbags look great. Any chance of manipulating them into a better position?

Morning Philipp
That really isn't very good, especially if it is being sold as specific to this kit!
It wont have been cheap either!
At least a self sculpt will fit exactly
Have fun, with the accessories, the kit is a dream to build

Re: Panzer III J, North Africa 1942
Thanks everyone
I could fix the gaps, but then the huge pile would still completely block the driver's vision. It seems the folks at Panzer Art often get a little too excited when making sandbag sets...
I'm fairly certain I can make use of the bags for a trench or gun emplacement, so it's not a total loss.

That is so sad. My Legend TOW HUMMWV conversion was the same. I had gotten so much of it completed and had so many cruddy parts. I even invested in a brass bender because I wanted to finish it but haven't even tried it out yet.

Re: Panzer III J, North Africa 1942
At long last a little bit of progress:
Hull finished, turret started. I've added a turned barrel by RB which fits perfectly in place of the plastic piece. The tracks shall follow....later
As often with Dragon, the headlight conduits are missing, so a bit of lead wire fixed that:

Whoops, sorry Phil, just read back in your posts and you mentioned that. As a scarred survivor of resin tracks I will salute your perseverance in advance!

It's a learning experience
So far I'm glad I only bought two sets, this and initial Tiger tracks for my DS infested Leningrad Tiger.
