Re: 1:35 AFV SturmTiger prototype conversion

A belated update chaps
I have received these from China, I knew I would need some conical bolts for the Sturmtiger, and as the label says for the Ferdinand, Elephant and VK4500 (P) Tiger too.
The surprise was the zimmerit tools
From a zimmerit virgin to having 2 sets of tools, with the set that comes with the RFM BergeTiger .
They will be useful, and not quite as scary to use after Philipp's SBS,
Thanks Philipp
Just a little bit of an update, working on the rear and engine deck.
Checking references for the correct layout is part of the Tiger story.
S-mines?
Brackets in Dec '42, but the launchers installed in '43
Plans with them on, but no clear photos?
What to do next?
References are reasonable but there is a predictable overlap from each change, which does allow a little artistic license.
And the research, to support a December '42 production which will have S-mine brackets but no launcher tubes
Engine deck layout B
SturmTiger prototype rear
Just some tidying up to do and back to the citadel and getting the mantel on the barrel sorted out, along with a cast iron finish all over
The mantel took a little scratch work.
I have some PE,
but as there are only a few track cable brackets to add, and the headlight bracket, I shall save them for another build
Thanks for popping by
regards
