....heavy tanks and their suspension... :roll:
48 road wheels for the Tiger in 4 layers is the absolute worst, but the T-35 is no slouch either with it's eight suspension bogeys, each holding 2 double road wheels.... :?

And here's more of the suspension bogeys.
I structured this in a little series of photos showing the parts and progress of the construction to illustrate how the kit deals with the suspension setup.
Spoiler: it's a fairly basic setup constructed from 15 parts, four of them etched. It's really sufficient, if only because the bogeys will be mostly hidden behind the armour skirts - still - it would have been nice to have proper steel coil springs and maybe etched "roofs"for the bogeys. But it's sufficient - it's fine ;).

Two kinds of road wheels, well actually just a positive and negative glue point, eventually they represent the same=>

Consolidation, now half their number :lol: =>

And here's the part-setup to build a bogey (excluding etch)=>

Building one=>

Fast forward by the speed of x8 and we have those lying around, awaiting paint=>

Terrific progress Raoul. You are doing a great job with this kit. :) I had earmarked one of these for my contribution to the GB but for the sake of variety I might have to check the stash again :lol:

Cheers,
Vincent

Thanks Vincent, but please feel free to start one - remember that the GB lasts 12 months this time, so a bit of repetition shouldn't be too obvious or, gods forbid, problematic! ;)

In fact I really like it when there's more than one person doing a vehicle, variation is almost certain to arise in the process! :D

Best regards

Got to say I like it when two or more people build the same subject, I would love someone else to share the frustration of correcting Meng's A39 with me! :D
