REvell 1:28 Fokker DR1 & Sopwith Camel

Post by Steve Hutchinson »

it really is a huge box :o

Image

The MG roaster was a cheap add on, at $5 inc. postage and is a reminder of my reckless youth,
Had a Teal Blue one in the 70's, another retirement project.

They are huge and ancient, with no real detail but is going to be fun to have a go.

Image

Not going to paint it red, just for a change ;)

Image

12 inch wing span, but for some reason the wings are solid unlike the DR I?

Ejector marks to take out though

Image

They are NOT Wingnut Wings standard, but their rigging will be a useful addition and there are plenty of build blogs to use for assistance.

I really want to get the Arnhem, Pz IID bridger, Breda and The Passion back onto my bench, but this will be a real change of pace and flavour.

I need to get back to it, but if I can't build or paint I can at least research ;)

More? eventually!

Anyone else?

Yep, that's a box alright

I built my last aircraft almost 20 years ago, so I'll take notes for the inevitable day when the itch comes back

Its a massive kit, both, but not feeling the "love" for them

yet!

I have had another idea, but time will tell, if I will actually be able to make it

The year is going to fly by, and nothing started yet with any of the GB's

Good to see you back at the bench Raoul, the T-35 is a real monster

Hopefully I shall get the 14-18 GB of the ground, soon

Regards
