Good evening gentlemen
The Plusmodel 178 is an older resin item
which has now been replaced by the newly arrived
Dragon Models 1/35 Sd.Kfz.252 leichte Gepanzerte Munitionskraftwagen Sd.Ah.32/1.
ammo cart price
plusmodel ammo carrier
Though the Plusmodel is available directly from their website for 18 euro +P&P, which is cheaper than the new Dragon kit,
if you don't want both units.
The "why" later
The box contents
instructions
Photo etch
pieces
Everything look neat and tidy, as per any resin kit
Large casting blocks to remove and it should work out OK.
no shells to put into the carrier, but there an multiples of suppliers out there that can answer that call.
I have bought 2 of the carriers, one from Plusmodel and one cheap on E-bay
My cunning plan until Dragon released the 252, was to convert a 250 Grief, I have a set of scale plans, and scratch build the trailer,
I even have a set of wheels for the trailer
So there you are, with a little effort and an old 250 from Airfix, Dragon, and a Plusmodel carrier, you can achieve for less than the cost of the new dragon
Your choice
Hope it has been of interest?
Steve H

Nice review
In addition to hauling Stug ammo these things were used for pretty much everything after 1941 - quite a wide array of options.

Nice Steve!
I hadn't seen this kit before, and it looks like one of those kits everyone should just have laying around. Never know when you will use it, either being towed or just a stand alone to fill and empty corner in a diorama

Nice review Steve!

I've seen photos of these being horse drawn sometime around winter '44-'45 and hand drawn by youthful auxiliaries, probably spring '45... so they are useful for all kinds of contexts - the worse (later that is) the war situation the less the mechanisation .
