Here is my contribution to the Figure GB.
The size of the box dwarfs the nearly finished contents

There aren't many parts to this kit so it goes together quickly. However, you have to be careful as the plastic is very soft. A new blade will cut through it very easily as I found out at the start.
The PE is incredibly small and very fiddly but adds a nice scale effect.
Anyway, here is a couple of close ups. He looks rather pleased with himself, the reason why will become clear soon. He went together nicely, the fit was good and I replaced the head with a Hornet one. He is a bit dirty from the new putty I'm using but will clean up well I think. I still have to add a few items to him.

Hopefully some paint soon.

Thanks Philipp. It's a neat little kit and I've learned from all the mistakes I made so if I do another one it'll be a lot faster

Love Hornet heads

It is brutally small, but you really sorted it out
What putty are you using
It does look "messy"!
Nice start

Great job Vincent!
On the fiddly etch especially!
I have to echo all the others here: hornet heads are just supremely usefull and elevate any figure, I've come to relie on them quite heavily
.
Best regards

Yes, I like the expression too. Hornet heads make a big difference to any figure I reckon.

The PE was tiny and I'm pleased I only stuffed up a couple of pieces.
The putty is water based from Deluxe Material I think that's their name. Woody put me onto it when I caught up with him at the recent Expo here. To apply you just put it where you want and wipe away the excess with water. Simple really. The only "trouble" , if you can call it that, is keeping the figure clean. I think it's my inexperience with the material that's at fault though.

The PE was definitely the hardest part of the build. Couple that with location points that are either too small, too big or non-existent and it could easily become a frustrating kit. Despite that, I'd build another one.
I agree about the Hornet heads too. They add character to any figure and I'm quickly building up a little stash of them.

With the Tractor build finished I have more time to spend on this project.
I've painted the figure and I decided the reason for his happy smile should be something all soldiers want.

This is where I'm up to at the moment.

I still have a fair bit to do before its finished.
