Can't think of a catchy title yet but will change the title when inspiration strikes!
Have had Tamiya's 166 Schwimmwagen in the stash for a while and have purchased the matching "recon" figure set from Tamiya. The heads are OK but have decided to have a go with Hornet aftermarket heads. AK Interactive will supply acrylic resin water and effects to put the vehicle in its element.
Similar to Raoul I found the build easy, the fit perfect and the detail good. After about 2hrs of steady cutting, sanding and gluing I have this;
I should be able to shoot primer later tonight and then put on the first top coat tomorrow. Still looking for a suitable base to contain the "water".
