Almost there....
If all goes as planned I can add some grass tufts tomorrow and finish the base before I head off to good ol' Helvetia on Saturday.

Well, technically it is tomorrow already...
Lust a little more weathering on the turret and it's, except for the figures, finished
.....maybe I'll just close the hatch and be done with it?

You really got the look of the turret mounting plate in the ground perfect. No look of floating or just plonked on top, it looks perfect!

For some reason the fact that I was back home did not automatically result in some bench time. Gotta love it when each and every minuscle thing happening around you depends on your physical presence and active participation...
