Very nice Vincent!
I really like the minor damage, already looks convincing, and that's without any paint!
Best regards

Thanks,Vincent Power wrote:Mark, I think they were used as Tow tugs, mowing the grass on airfields, they also had a variety of attachments for other engineering work.Mark Aldrich wrote:So...were these just used as tow tugs?
I'm no expert though.

I was thinking that this would be a neat armored Israeli tractor project for the Independence War time frame.

Thanks Raoul. I've been experimenting with the effect of rust eating through metal so I'm hoping the paint will be even better.Raoul Kunz wrote:Very nice Vincent!

Re: Thunder Model Tractor
I have a little progress to share with you guys.
I started on the base. Its a Modelscene one with a few plants added. There will be more before its finished. I've also finished the first layers of rust before a topcoat goes on. Lots more to do.
Cheers,
Vincent

Nice base Vincent
And another "rust Bucket" on the way?
It really is a skill to get the weathered and rusted look, just right
Looking forward to the end result
