Thunder Model Tractor
This is my contribution to the Engineering GB. I was going to do the Trumpeter S65 Stalinetz but I like the look of this one instead.
Cheers,
Vincent
I haven't started it yet but it looks very nice in the box. Cheers,
Vincent

Re: Thunder Model Tractor
Very nice
I've heard reports of Thunder Model kits being very smelly, I hope this one is an exception?

Yes, post them for us to see Woody and I'd be interested to see the steering mod too. I plan on having the wheels turned on mine as well.Justin Wooding wrote:I have all the pics on my phone. I should post em up.

Re: Thunder Model Tractor
Vincent, here is a little improvement i did on the steering. This has made it so the front wheels can be turned for a little visual interest. Also i think it makes for better assembly of the parts.
Basically it is a simple case of drilling through the steering arms and axle. I made some pins from stretched sprue. I could have cut brass pins, but i felt the sprue was strong enough. I will glue it all once i find a steering angle i am happy with.
Thought i would get those two photos up at least
