So...were these just used as tow tugs?

Mark, I think they were used as Tow tugs, mowing the grass on airfields, they also had a variety of attachments for other engineering work.
I'm no expert though.

Thanks Raoul. I've been experimenting with the effect of rust eating through metal so I'm hoping the paint will be even better.

I started on the base. Its a Modelscene one with a few plants added. There will be more before its finished.
