Amazing work. The amount of equipment bolted to this thing is incredible!

This has been a bit of a labour of love, there were several times it was close to joining the Paladin on the shelf and I was going to just build the RCO tractor that I have in the stash!

Re: IDF M113 Chata P (Late)
Thanks guys
Wish we could get this stuff in NZ, understand BNA may be stocking it soon

In lieu of that I've used Ammo sand and gravel glue and chinchilla dust on the ramp to replicate IDF grip tread. It also nicely covers up a number of ejector marks.
Managed to shoot a couple of coats of Chaos Black primer today and hope to get a base coat on tomorrow.

Re: IDF M113 Chata P (Late)
Any Israeli armour experts in our ranks? The 113s have been in Israeli service since the 70s, but my Chata"P is the "late" or "modular" version still in use. I'm assuming Israeli Sand Grey (FS36134) would be correct and not Desert Sand as some kit manufacturers state?

Desert Sand is no longer in use in IDF. You can't be wrong with Sinai Grey or Sand Grey if your model is still in service.

Got it!Mark Aldrich wrote:Adam,

I'm going the have to match your references as close as I can to the brands we get locally, Tamiya, Mr Hobby or Vallejo. The Ammo and AK sets just don't look right in the Sand Grey.

Re: IDF M113 Chata P (Late)
I bought the Vallejo and Ammo sets and they look very dark to me. I used the Mig for the Magach2 and was not impressed with both the color or the way it covered. However the covering part may be my inability to use acrylics.
