Finally got the base coat completed. Looks a little more grey in real life (due to a couple of filter applications) than in my crappy pics.
Also got most of the detail painting done as well as the road wheels, MG ammo cans and jerry cans in their holder.
Decals are awesome, not sure who prints them for Legend but they are gossamer thin and conform really well with a bit of microset and microsol. The "9" on the fold down work bench on the glacis has settled in to the wood grane really nicely.
Gas/acetylene cylinders are finished in Tamiya white primer, decals are from the spares box.
Gerry cans and the tarp are held in place by straps made of Tamiya tape and PE buckles. Part of my mental block on this kit is due to the headache caused by threading all these tiny bits together!
Current state is as above, have put a final clear coat on to seal the decals and will slowly work on the tedious process of pin washing and some OPR over the next few weeks. Most Chata"P vehicles in my references look dusty and dirty but not chipped or damaged so will not be going overboard with the weathering.
