Thanks Philipp. I'm keen to get the green and brown on. I have a feeling it will be quite colourful. :)

Cheers,

Well done with the pre shade Vincent

I am too heavy handed, to date to get a pre shade to work

Looking forward to the camo next

Nice one

Nice work, Vincent.

Thanks Steve. :) I wasn't sure about the pre shade either but I'm happy with it so far. I'm not looking forward to masking the colours though. ;)

Thanks Shawn. :)

Unfortunately I have had to put this to one side for the time being. The masking for the tri colour scheme is beyond me right now and my airbrush is also not behaving itself. To keep my sanity I'll start something else.

Cheers,
Vincent

Too bad...but maybe you could try brush painting the camo scheme? I'm not sure how but some folks make it look like it was airbrushed on. Probably several very thin layers and lots of clear to seal it in.

Hi Vincent

Mario Eens did a DVD in the MMX range on different camo and AB combinations

DVD - Airbrushing Camouflage Patterns with Mario Eens

To cut a long story short, hand paint the edges of the camo and fill in with the AB.

I did mine all by hand, but did use the suggestion to draw the camo onto a plan, so I knew what I was trying to do

HTH's?

I'm not sure I could pull off brush painting Philipp. I think I'll leave well enough alone for the moment.
