Thank you Steve!

Progress has been slow, the turret is just as complex as the hull...A few dozen tiny parts are still missing here:

It's basically impossible to mount the gun movable since the tabs holding it in place are both tiny and don't fit very well, so I just glued it in place. In addition there is nothing to hold the turret onto the hull, so I'll have to figure something out before I drop it onto the floor by accident. As you can see I needed to add a little filler on the gap between the turret shell and mantlet. The brass antenna sockets are made by Panzer Art.

Well, all of a sudden I think I'm actually quite close to the end...

I still need to assemble the (horribly greasy) resin machine gunner that came with it. There are no instructions for him, so I probably have to use this official photo for reference and improvise the rest.

Nice finish Philipp

The figure looks OK

I guess you don't start the new job just yet?

1st April? New tax year?

Still time for a few more builds ;)

Thank you Steve!

I'll start whenever my conctract has passed the city's legal department, which might take a few weeks.....German employment laws have been deregulated just enough to make it a legal nightmare for everyone involved

I've pieced together the figure, seems like he actually fits

(I've filled in the damage on his shoulder already)

Unless I have forgotten something it's now time for some paint.

Looks great Pille! :D
Especially having seen it "in the plastic" I can assure that there's tons of detail on this little kit! :o

Also: the bloke using the .50cal looks so extremely late imperialistic ( the uniform tunic looks so 2nd empire, especially without paint  ) - morbidly so really as all the empires are of course about to come crashing down around the powers' ears in the 50s....

Best regards

Thanks everyone :)

I'll throw on some primer in the next few days, after I've taken some proper photos of the unpainted model. In my opinion they are almost as interesting as the finished piece :)
