Sorry Philipp I didn't notice your question about the hat. Your color is better than the picture in your link.
However you should get rid of the shiny look of the battledress.

Nice work Philipp.
Just catching up on this build. It's a nicely detailed kit! Not much one has to do to improve it. Probably, as you did, just add after market machine gun barrels.
