Great work on the soldering Chris. My biggest problem when it comes to soldering is not having enough arms and hands. I can never seem to get the pieces aligned. Tape does not work, blue tack does not work, even tweezers don't seam to work. Just a huge struggle on my end. I spend more time trying to align parts than anything else. A lot of times I just have to hold the pieces and that hurts like hell.

Brave man to tackle those PE fenders. One tip to avoid unsoldering your prior work is to place a small bit of damp paper towel over the joint you don't want to accidentally unsolder.

I've not made any progress lately, I got distracted for more than five minutes and built the Tasca Sherman which then suffered mission creep with workable tracks and a bunch of figures. I'm about to get even more distracted, the Takom FV432 is due to arrive today I will get this finished though.

I put this on hold as I have been having problems with my eye sight, an old problem that has flared up leaving me with 30% vision in my right eye and serious problems with depth perception close up. PE work is almost impossible so looks like OOB will be order of the day for the moment. I'm startinga six week course of tablets which hopefully will improve things.
