Re: Trumpeter SU-152
Thanks Vincent, that's very kind of you
In the meantime the SU-152 has been primed black, might start painting soon.

Re: Trumpeter SU-152
Sorry to hear you are in a contract vacuum, Philipp
But your building is benefiting no end
Always a fine balance between income and time with our hobby
Seems you are putting your time to very good use
Great progress, it will be good to see the "beast" with paint
Back to work soon
Regards
Steve H

So did I
I've masked off the camo scheme now, still waiting for the masking fluid to dry...I hope this works

Re: Trumpeter SU-152
Thanks Vincent
Madman that I am, I just had to try that two colour scheme...
So I did this....
And ended up with this:
I guess it could have gone worse - but lots of involuntary chipping and despite my best efforts overspray in some areas. A few small parts came off with the masking fluid and one of the handrails went flying into parts unknown...oh well, battle damage...

That looks really good Philipp
Much better finish than a brush, look very crisp on your photos too
Nice one

Re: Trumpeter SU-152
That's nice work Philipp, masking can be so tedious but the results look like they were worth it.
