Nice work with the figures
Same with me, you toil for hours on them only to discover a truckload of tiny problems once you take the photos

Glad to see you building on the site again Woody.
Like Philipp said, nice work on the figures. Looking forward to following the build.

Nice work on the figures Woody. I'm doing that on mine as well but they haven't turned out nearly as good as yours.

Morning Woody
I have to echo the chaps with the figures, great work
I see this as Vinnie's gift to us all, with his superb scribing work, you have really caught the master's eye for scribing
Paint will definitely add to the ear detail, drilled or not, they are an improvement
Cracking progress

Hello chaps!
Thanks for the positivity
Ok, so one figure fully assembled and ready for some undercoat to highlight any areas that need to be a bit tidier. Please pick away if you see anything glaringly obvious.
I forgot to blend in the right arm. I must do that before undercoat

Re: Tamiya Type 1 Self Propelled Gun
Hello chaps!
Just me back from the land of no modeling again No novel excuses from me, just the usual stuff draining me of motivation. Mainly work really, it's quite depressing and making me pretty unhappy. The time is coming to really get the frack out of there
On the bright side i have been dabbling about with some models trying to put a couple of aircraft together, but am struggling to get much done. And i have in the last week been prodding at the Type 1.
Getting the interior done. And i have fitted a figure to the drivers seat. There is no driver figure in the kit, but seeing as the vehicle will be in action i thought it should have one. So i bashed together some bits and pieces from a second Tamiya Japanese Infantry set. He is a real Frankenstein!
Not much will be seen apart from his back, so Frankenstein fills the hole
Just have to glue the top down and add some more weathering to the interior. Any suggestions as to what sort of gear i can add to busy the interior up? Does anyone know of 1/35 scale Japanese gear and equipment accessory sets?

Re: Tamiya Type 1 Self Propelled Gun
Welcome back
Your work problems sound familiar...been there done that. No fun at all if all that gets you up in the morning are the few coins at the end of the month...
To be honest I have no idea concerning Japanese gear, but how about a few spent shells that have tumbled down there? Bedrolls, sacks etc should be fairly universal.

Re: Tamiya Type 1 Self Propelled Gun
I'll second that thought Woody
Work is a PITA, but outside of a lottery win or a massive pension pot, its a necessary evil
The driver looks good and achieves the need to fill a gap too
Any progress is good, hopefully a little more soon
General clutter is common across all armies, so mix and match should be OK
Regards
