Groovy 8-)

A light overspray with some buff should tone down the contrast. If that's not enough, a light filter might help too. I've seen a few late war German tanks with hand painted camo schemes where this worked nicely.

You could use some oils to alter the tone somewhat Woody. :)

Looks great Woody, the camp has come out nicely.

Once a wash/pigments etc etc have been applied it will tone it down nicely and "blend" it all together a bit.

Still time to push to the finish line for the medal! :D

Hi chaps,

Thanks for the feedback and and encouragement. What you have said is what i sort of figured has to happen. I was aiming for a gloss coat soon and some OPR as shown in the Tank Art books.

Lets see what i can come up with on the weekend :P

Well, i just had a depressing moment. I finished putting together the right side Fruil tracks and put the pins to the inside as you do. Looks like both bags of track in my set were left hand side. With the pins to the inside my tracks are in opposite directions.

Pics tomorrow. I am really peeved and going to bed :(

Thanks chaps :)

Ok, here are the tracks with the pin ends facing inwards...

After some thought, i think i can live with this. I'll put the right hand tracks the way the direction they should be. Then with some mud and dirt, and if i place that side of the tank tight against some vegetation, it won't be very noticeable Image
