Here is the result of my brain storming
Next steps, fixing the NSVT support, finishing the side skirts and I will be able to call the build complete.

That's some excellent scratchbuilding. Should make a huge difference on the finished model...along with everything else you've replaced

I fear I was a bit too optimistic!
Fixing the NSVT support is not a big deal, Panzershop have simply copied Tamiya T-72's NSVT but for some obscure reason have omitted the dual elevation springs under the cradle. Side skirts are nearly completion.
I managed to put the mortar tube and its dust mantlet in place.
BUT, I still have to redo the tools and their latches, and the attachments for the unditching log. Panzershop provide some useless PE parts for these.
The kind of basket at the back of the vehicle is omitted while the large bag to fill it is present in the kit.
The base of the pedestal for the AT missile firing post is totally wrong. I need a new one and I will modify the pedestal as well because I won't use the firing post. The latter appears on none of the reference pics I have seen. The ladder shaped parts at the rear end of the hull need to be thoroughly thinned and the protection plates at the bottom of the rear hull must be made from scratch. Panzershop offering is a joke.
Hopefully the list of remaining tasks is exhaustive!

That is some really nice detailing / scratch building Olivier.
I have said it before, great work you are doing on this one..

Thank you Shawn.
A couple details have been added to the rear wall. On the roof the tools have been either modified or made from scratch. There are still a couple of details to add (from scratch of course!) and I could call the build complete.
Here is how the beast looks like.

It's been a labour of love so far Olivier, the end is in sight!

Well done Olivier. I really like what you've done to get the kit to this level of quality.
