What a wonderful collection of figures Raoul. The machine gunner lying down is a standout, the rifles look real and the addition of grass to a couple of helmets is a nice touch. All in all you should be very pleased with your results I reckon.

Thanks Steve, Adam, Vincent!
Don't stress yourself, happy that it has generated interest.
Though I suppose it would look better if I did it in two parts with some overlap and a dangly end... but I was a tad bit under-motivated to go that far... if it where a lower number of rifles, sure, I will try this with the next rifles I do, but with 15 slings that would result in 30 tiny fiddly lead foil stripes and three points of CA application...

I don't know... there is still quite a lot to do, and then there's the whole "impact-business"...I guess you aren't too far away from the finish line?

I dip them in a drop of CA, but yes, that's pretty much it...How do you fasten the slings to the rifles, a drop of CA?

Raoul- I think you have more figures in this diorama than I have built over the last seven years.
The figures look good, waiting patiently for the final result.

Re: 38(t)s Pzrgt. 25 of the 7th PD
I seem to be an extremist... it's probably the fanaticism of the convert... remember that until two years ago I didn't even built bases for my kits .
The figures are done, with most of the additions like decals on the hand grenades, ammunition belts, field glasses complete with straps..oh and I build the casualty... it's not the original figure but I happen to have three more of this figure so I just built a new one since I still had the head around.
Also finished that tank crew, minus one of the figures planed since the 38(t) (obviously... ) only had a crew of four...
Tankers and casualty-to-be =>
And here's the whole... crowd? horde?
With flash for detail =>
Now on to the base... I'll probably "test place" the figures and tanks this week.
I'll have a mail for you tomorrow (that is Monday) Steve with what I buy from whom, it's fairly cheap and there's a couple of UK based suppliers in it.
Best regards

Re: 38(t)s Pzrgt. 25 of the 7th PD
All right - update time!
I placed everything (except the telegraph poles and some minor objects and the cat that is), the tanks will probably stay where they are with some variations, the figures are still open to some variation, but I'll be adding clay to the hill (which will be reconstructed with different cork, this one is a placeholder) and the road as well as modelling some (very minor) impressions left by the tracks.. should not be too deep, it's a light tank and it's summer .
Anyhow - here's the top down as well as some specific aspect =>
Left=>
Centre=>
Right=>
"Fuc*fuc*fu*k - this shouldn't be happening!" =>
Probably more to come on this long weekend... though I wouldn't be too certain .
Best regards

How are you going to model the smoke Raoul? I am assuming the bits of cloth are temporary.

Re: 38(t)s Pzrgt. 25 of the 7th PD
Thanks Adam and Philipp !
The "smoke" bits are just scraps of toilet paper I use to clean my brushes .
It will probably be made from cotton eventually.
So here's the general plan without anything beside some cork on it =>
Here's the cork base for the second of three MG-34 teams as well as the designated marksman.=>
And here is how it looks with the yet-to-dry-completely clay =>
Overview, again with everything besides the cat on it=>
Left to right:
The left=>
Centre left=>
The track of the 38(t) B here has disconnected sometime ago... won't be of relevance since it's will be hidden behind a strategically placed tuft of grass...
Centre right=>
Right=>
Since the pictures where taken...all off 10 minutes ago...( ) I moved one of the assistant gunners from the right corner too the left.
Best regards

You are making super progress now Raoul. I like the placement of all the pieces and the base is coming along nicely too. The big question still to be answered though is where will the cat go?
