Re: Tamiya Marder III
Thanks Vincent
For the most part the Marder itself should be finished now:
Now the patch of dirt and of course the crew...

Re: Tamiya Marder III
Another build complete. You guys make me sick, and definitely make me feel so inadequate about my production rate.

Very nice Marder. To my taste it is dusty enough but I'm eager to see what you will achieve in the next step.
Looking at the rear of the engine deck, I guess the basket served as seats for the crew members. They wouldn't be that comfortable!

Re: Tamiya Marder III
Thanks everyone
Olivier -
I was trying to get a more subdued weathering, maybe for late spring 1943 before everything turns dusty again. As for the crew, there are two folding seats hanging over the sides. The backrests would be attached to these while on the road (as on this model). Not much better than the basket to be honest

Re: Tamiya Marder III
I finally finished the figures - and I think I see a very slight improvement compared to previous efforts if I may boldly say so
I replaced the kit shells with some turned brass shells made by RB Model. These are for the Pak 40, but the dimensions are virtually identical. The difference in 1/35 would be about 0,046 mm
By the way, the mousse was very tasty
