Thanks Team :D

Here's the figure - not 70s I'm afraid -Masterbox from the Allied forces set.

Total prep time to carve out the bottom of the trousers, remove seams and prepare the head - approx 4 hours  Shawn - I know how you feel. Figures Really slow you down.

Nice figure though - I'm imagining this is a war-time Aussie version of Woody ;)

Thoughts turn to a base and it's going to be a small one to keep it all tight...

Light to moderate chipping to depict quite a well used desert vehicle

And my favourite bit - decals - which always bring the vehicle to life

I'm with Philipp, the chipping of the paint looks great. Really realistic in how it has chipped/peeled.

The picture with the paint freaked me out a bit, the kit looks really small next to the paint and for a second I was thinking "Wait a minute, is this 72nd!? "

Very nice Rob,

Very Nice Indeed :D

It really does hold up well for a 70's kit,

great work on the chipping too, I am finding out, it is quite a "dark art" 8-)

Can't wait for the weathering and figure too ;)

Very nice work :D

Thanks Fellas

Work ground to a halt. We had a CQC inspection at work - all hands to the pumps - solid work these last 2 weeks

But - nearly there....
