Re: Tamiya M41 Walker Bulldog 1973 (finished!!)
Thanks Steve,
Bit I am happiest with is the rusting of the mufflers and their covers using oil washes and pastels.
The tracks are a dog, no internal detail, and no mater how I prepped and primed them the paint is barely hanging on!

Great job on this elderly kit!
As I myself noticed: applying everything we know of modern finishing on an old kit is somehow revitalizing, isn't it?
Best regards

Vinyl tracks with nothing but a flat internal surface is a real PITA
I shared your frustration and have stopped with the Pz II tracks, as I think the paint has stopped coming off
You really did a great job on the M41 the green seems to have responded better than the dessert yellow seems to be working out with my Pz II
Great work Adam
regards

Yeh, pulled the Sd.KFZ 222 down off the shelf last night. Bit of a mental block on it at the moment, think I'll wait for my second wind to do it some justice!

Nicely done. I have picked up a AFV Club version in hopes of building it as a Lebanese Civil War version.....some day.
