Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Originally I wanted to put on the primer today, but as you might have heard in the news, Germany is a rather wet place right now. So I had a look at what was left on the sprues and improvised some extra armour:

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Finally did it!
Once again Games Workshop primer straight from the can to give it a solid base for airbrushing. The antennas are from standard brass wire, no fancy aftermarket there.

Look really nice Philipp.

I love how folks in this GB are explaining the lack of AM. I may have to add a bed roll made from tissue and white glue a la Shep Paine to the Grief to get in on the fun.Philipp Gross wrote:The antennas are from standard brass wire, no fancy aftermarket there.

The primer certainly makes the Zimmerit pop Philipp. Can't wait to see some paint on it.

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Thanks everyone
I was a bit cautious with spraypainting during the last few days, but now that my lung is from Darth Vader mode back to normal I might finally try it. As soon as the unbearable heat goes down a little
(supposedly tomorrow)

And we have colour:
Did I mention I forgot to add the lower Schürzen brackets? I don't think I did. Because I just noticed it....

Re: Tamiya StuG IV
Since I was going to break out the dark yellow again anyway, I decided to make a few skirt panels from sheet styrene.
As we all know sheet styrene has been around since the time of the ancient Sumerians, so it's totally fine for this GB. Trust me, I'm a historian.
